Cabrera's Mexican Restaurant

Today, my daughter and I decided to try a different Mexican restaurant in BG for a change. BG has a ton to choose from, but serendipity was with us this day! Pictured is their Burritos Mexicanos, stuffed with pork, tomatoes, onions, and green peppers. I was a little disappointed that this dish did not come with beans and rice, but I quickly realized that it stood by itself VERY well. It may look a little sloppy compared to our usual digs, but it more than made up for it with flavor. The service was excellent, the decor was Mexican restaurant chic, you can't ask for anything more, except the prices are lower, so yeah, it's got that too! My daughter had the fajita nachos sans veggies, and she was digging it like nobody's business. Our new found spot for sure.

Food, friendly service and cold beer were all like you would expect. You get more than you pay for here. Definetly a top notch authentic mex. Building and location are not so convenient but not too bad. Still get 5 stars. They really appreciate your business and it showed.

Fast, friendly service. Portions were a little bigger than normal during this visit. While they were not very busy, they stayed very attentive.

The food was good I like a more authentic looking place and not sure but I thought the beans were canned.

Best mexican food in bowling green

Love, love, love this place! Best Mexican food in Bowling Green! There are other Mexican restaurants and then there is Cabrera's. Went there once for Valentine's day and was entertained with a mariachi band singing love songs. We didn't know they were going to be there. It was so lovely!

Ate there yesterday with my friend. I got a combo #5 and a beef taco, and my friend got a beef burrito and a stuffed pepper. Our server was amazing and attentive, and he even made sure our orders were 100% correct before ringing them in. Literally every single item of food, from the chips an salsa down to the rice and beans, was perfect. We ordered some queso as well, and it was amazing also. Great service, and literally everything they cook tastes amazing. Best mex it BG, hands down. Definitely our new favorite spot. Highly recommend.

Couldnt give it no stars. This place is disgusting. I ordered a quesidilla and it was sopping in grease... my son ordered a burrito and it looked like cat food.

I love this restaurant! We've eaten here for years. We havent been to any other Mexican restaurant since we began eating here maybe 3 or 4 yrs ago. Their service is fast & courteous. They go out of their way to make sure the customer is happy with their meals. Highly recommend the pork burrito 😉

Amazing food great prices

I got told by the front desk not to come back after I found something in my drink rudely we asked for our money back repeatedly just to leave and get out of their they tried saying it was a burnt chip but it looked like cloth after cleaning which shouldn’t have been in the drink and I saw it in the glass after a refill so who knows if it was in their with the first drink and I drank it it disgusted me they tried to defend themselves after a mistake just make it right and move on I’m terrified if I might get sick do not come here with kids do to rude service and behavior that can distrust your whole experience the food was good for what I had hard to say if anything else on the menu is good though I do not recomend this place in the slightest

Cabrera's never disappoints! Always really appreciate the staff for always being kind and curious even on their busiest nights! There's not a bad option on the menu.

The food is excellent and exceptionally reasonable. The service is great as well. My personal favorite... shrimp tacos with a squirt of fresh lime juice! Delicious!

This is the first time I tried this restaurant. This will be the last time I try this restaurant. I ordered a volcano and ordered my son a Nachos Locos. To go. There was hardly any cheese on the nachos Locos. They were soggy nacho chips. Very little meat mostly bell peppers. On the volcano. I have ordered this is several other Mexican restaurants this did not compare whatsoever for the money I paid. Little meat lots and lots of shredded Cactus however. And the cheese was in chunks it wasn't even melted. I will not be back now I know why there was only three cars in the parking lot on a Friday evening. And they were probably the servers...

Nice on the inside. Food is supper expenses. Food is supper gross. And my waiter did not understand i was vegetarian so my plate was 90% nasty beans

Last couple of times my family has been there they have gave us the wrong order, never get refills on drinks, even though the place was almost empty. We use to love this place and would go about onced a week but has gone down recently. Don't think we will be going back for a while.

Better than the best! Street tacos to die for, staff treats you like family. No other place compares when it comes to food, drinks, and service!

Best service ever and best food in town. I go there about once a week and it is like my second home! I love it soo much. They are the best and I would recommend it to anyone. This is actually the best place I’ve eaten in my entire life.

AWESOME!!!! Oh my!!!! We found our NEW favorite Mexican restaurant!!! Both of our meals were GREAT!!! Our server was courteous and friendly. For Saturday dinner time this place was moderately busy, but the establishment ran like a well tuned motor. Definitely will be returning here for many "date nights"!!!!

Loved it. Great place to eat. The food is on point.

The food was lukewarm. I didn't eat all of it. Thankful I didn't because when I got home I ended up sick all night . That was the only food I had eaten that day. Was very disappointed. Won't go back there .

I ordereded the fajitas, they was done really quick but then I realized that the shrimp was not thoroughly cooked, so I called the server whom seemed mad about having to take the meal back to the kitchen. Just once he approached our table and the place was almost empty so he wasn't busy, our drinks was empty but he never offered to refill them. Is like they was in a hurry to get us out of there. I ate there before and the service and food was a lot better. With so many choices in town they should try harder to retain their customer base. I know I will not be eating there anymore.
